The first step here is to figure out the missing length of the real car. We know the area is 2318 square inches, and the width is 61 inches. Since the area of a rectangle is length x width, we can find the length by doing the opposite of multiplication which is division. 

2318 ÷ 61 = 38 

So the dimensions of the real car windshield is 61 and 38. 

Now, we have to find what 1/18 of 61 is, and what 1/18 of 38 is. We can divide 61 and 38 by 18 to find these values.
