when f(x) and g(x) intersects then f(x) = g(x)

plug in some values for x and find out f(x)

let make the table for f(x). we know f(x)= x^2 + 2

x       >   1         2       3

g(x) >   3       6       11

from both f(x)   and g(x) table we can see that when x= 1 , f(x)=3  

also g(x)= 3

hence f(x) and g(x) intersects at (1,3)
