As a Mixed number: 7 1/4
As a fraction: 29/4
As a whole number: 7.25

You can pick either or

They just wanted you to add them all up 3 + 4 = 7 and then you have your 1/4 being 7 1/4

If you want it as a fraction you multiply and then add going clockwise. So we would multiply 4 by 7 = 28 plus 1 = 29 giving us 29/4.
Another example is 3 2/5. Multiply 5 by 3 which is 15 plus 2 will give us 17/5

To find the whole number you just divide 1 by 4 to get .25 so it would then be 7.25.
If it was 7 2/4 you would divide 2 by 4 and get 0.5 so it would be 7.5
