How do i graph the equation 5y-3x=-15

Must get the equation to be in y=mx+b form.  this will give us an equation that looks like this... 5y=3x-15

now we must divide every term in the equation by 5 to get the "y" by itself

now we have y=3/5x-3

start your graph on the y-axis (the vertical line) at -3 or the coordinate pair (0,-3)

3/5 is your slope so starting at (0, -3) you will move up 3 spots and move to the right 5 spots.  to continue your graph in the opposite direction you can move down 3 spots and to the left 5 spots.
