Idon't need doing work i just need someone to check my answers for me. sal's sandwich shop sells wraps and sandwiches as part of its lunch specials. the profit on every sandwich is $2 and the profit on every wrap is $3. sal made a profit of $1,470 from lunch specials last month. the equation 2x + 3y = 1,470 represents sal's profits last month, where x is the number of sandwich lunch specials sold and y is the number of wrap lunch specials sold. 1. change the equation to slope-intercept form. identify the slope and y-intercept of the equation. be sure to show all your work. 2. describe how you would graph this line using the slope-intercept method. be sure to write using complete sentences. 3. write the equation in function notation. explain what the graph of the function represents. be sure to use complete sentences. 4. graph the function. on the graph, make sure to label the intercepts. you may graph your equation by hand on a piece of paper and scan your work or you may use graphing technology. 5. suppose sal's total profit on lunch specials for the next month is $1,593. the profit amounts are the same: $2 for each sandwich and $3 for each wrap. in a paragraph of at least three complete sentences, explain how the graphs of the functions for the two months are similar and how they are different. 6. below is a graph that represents the total profits for a third month. write the equation of the line that represents this graph. show your work or explain how you determined the equations. 1. the slope-intercept form of the equation  is  y=  mx+b, m represents the slope and  b is the  y-intercept in the equation.  in slope-intercept form you isolate the y: 2x+3y= 1470 2. subtraction cancels out the positive 2x in the equation on the left side. 2x+3y-2x= 1470-2x 3. since they’re not like terms you can’t combine them you have to keep them separate. 3y= -2x+1470 4. first you cancel out the 3 by dividing, everything has to be divided to make sure it’s equal. 3y/3= -2/3x+1470/3 y= -2/3x+490 5. the slope is -2/3 and the  y-intercept of this equation is 490. to graph the equation you need to plot 490 on the  y-axis because it’s the intercept of the equation.  then you need to count over to the right by 3 and down by 2 to find the next point. 6. in the function notation this would be  f(x)= -2/3x+490.  the function shows how the profit of wrap specials change as the number of the sandwich specials sold increase. the next month when sal's profit increases the function changes because the  y-intercept changes. then the slope stays the same.

Aspacecraft can attain a stable orbit 300 kilometers above earth if it reaches a velocity of 7.7 kilometers per second. the formula for a rocket's maximum velocity v in kilometers per second is vequalsminus0.0098tplusc ln upper r, where t is the firing time in seconds, c is the velocity of the exhaust in kilometers per second, and r is the ratio of the mass of the rocket filled with fuel to the mass of the rocket without fuel. find the velocity of a spacecraft whose booster rocket has a mass ratio of 20, an exhaust velocity of 2.1 km/s, and a firing time of 15 s. can the spacecraft achieve a stable orbit 300 km above earth?
