Remember the following things:
1) multiplying a negative number with a positive will result in a negative answer
2) multiplying a negative number with a negative will result in a positive answer
3) multiplying the same variables will result in a greater 'power'.

So:

2d²(d) = 2d³
11d(d) = 11d²
-4(d) = -4d

-9(2d²) = -18d²
-9(11d) = -99d
-9(-4) = 36
