I have a mixed feelings of this answer.

I was gloomy that my inner strength isn't valued. How superficial and materialistic! I'm OK, financially, and in terms of appearance. I don't consider myself rich nor very beautiful. But seriously, there are tons of girls who are “rich and beautiful”, a lot of them are prettier and wealthier than I am, where is my uniqueness and my own value? And what made him think I'm nothing else?

But I wasn't furious. Think about the bright side, being rich and beautiful gives you advantage in life, and someone just think that I have some great advantage in life.

Like, people think you are rich and handsome!

I took it as a compliment anyway, glass- half- full is better than glass-half-empty.

And it's better than those often-heard answers.

In all seriousness- telling the truth is always the best. Knowing how both parties value each other saves a hell lot of time and problems.
