Social media affects peoples thoughts and behaviour. By using mass media leaders are able to reach large audience, due to its reach it is considered one of the most important forces of modern times.

It can affect Various aspects of human life such as voting, beliefs and individual beliefs  and altering a persons knowledge about a specific topic by providing false information. Its influence has increased drastically and still continues to grow. Politicians use it  to gather volunteers, money, strengthening political base and affirming political beliefs.
