Your teacher has asked you to write a narrative essay about a lesson your life experiences have taught you. which of these is the appropriate and effective introduction for a narrative essay on this topic? a) i like the different comparisons that people make about life. people say that life is a bowl of cherries or that life is a roller coaster ride. i like to compare all sorts of things. my favorite expression is that two things are like two peas in a pod. b) when i was very young, i visited my friend at the hospital when she broke her arm. this experience changed my life. meeting the people at the hospital and seeing how they cared for my friend made me see that i want to be a doctor so that i can people, too. c) my brother told the best story about something he learned from playing football for his high school. my brother said that playing a team sport taught him a lesson about working hard and improving at something. high school sports teach kids all sorts of things. d) my mom is a dietician. that means that she assists people in figuring out what they should eat to stay healthy. my mom says that i should aim to eat at least five fruits and vegetables a day. i told her that i wouldn't have time to eat anything but fruits and vegetables. she thought that was hilarious.
