Will give 100 points to anyone who's answer is right. 6.10 Graded Assignment – Night (30 points)

Answer ALL PARTS of the following prompt with complete sentences. Use textual evidence to support your response. Your answer should be 3-4 paragraphs.

We have spent time learning about the power of language. Whether we are readers, writers, speakers or listeners, language affects us in millions of different ways. Wiesel initially vowed to never write about the Holocaust. He said, “You must speak, but how can you, when the full story is beyond language?”

Do you think anyone can ever really understand what Wiesel experienced in the concentration camp? How effectively do you feel he communicated his experience? What specific examples from the novel do you think were most effective?

Globally speaking, what are the ways that you feel language affects people? Think about literature, movies, the media, music, and any other way that language is used. Is there power in words? Why? Is one form of language (written vs. spoken) more powerful than another? How will you use words to affect others? (30 points)

Now pick a section from chapter 1 of the call of the wild in which buck is interacting with another character. imagine that section narrated in first person point of view from one of the character's perspective, and rewrite it in the space below, attempting to use a similar writing style as the original author. then, in a second paragraph, consider this: are you able to explore some of the same ideas and themes when viewing the situation from the character's first person point of view, as compared to when it is narrated from london's third-person limited point of view? explain. your response should be be about 150 words in total.
