Write a story with the ending “But for the police”

My name is ash, I grew up on the street. I am the Leader of the Terminators and I live in New York city. I am also a photographer's assistant. Anyway, Today I went to meet up with the big boss, He needed me to find a special drug that his a certain dealer has, and bring it back to him, I "agreed" to go up for the task. I later on went to the bar to meet with the man, and had a simple conversation with him, I saw that he had a suspicious necklace around his neck, then I realized that I had my eyes on the prize. I managed to steal the thing without him noticing, I then said goodbye, and sat back down. Later on, Two men walked in the bar, looking for me. It was another photographer and a reporter who wanted to write about my case. They walked up to me and asked me my name, then I agreed to help them. Especially the Korean boy, he interests me. ok and then after that. I sat down to talk with them... I told them all that they needed to know. The real question was, "what did the man mean by banana fish?" It was indeed confusing to all of us, I can't even figure it out myself. The story of the case started in the military. My brother was sick at the time and he became crazy. He and his friends were talking bye a fire, when he suddenly got up grabbed his gun and shot all the men, and accidentally shot himself. The last thing he said was, "Here is a message, Banana Fish" It was passed on from their to here. I have this drug here for a reason, because it has something to do with this case, so i decided to keep it myself. As I knew already, the boss had known i was not coming back, so he sent men to kill me. -Few minuets earlier- I was getting a drink when... "Ash! get up now, or i'm going to kill you." They started pulling triggers and shooting up the place, so I told my friend Rio to take them away. I Ran under a table to keep safe, and shot back. They have too-ken my friends hostage, so I run after them, and try to fight back, but instead they have gotten me too. They put us into a white van, and drove us to their hideout to keep us. I wanted to keep my friends safe, but i failed... It has been two days since we have been kidnapped by the other gang of the boss. We were trapped, I had no hope. The Korean kid besides me had a plan, so we managed to escape, because he was a professional climber. We ran away as fast as we could before they noticed we had escaped. They got into their cars and drove towards us, I told the kid to run to the police station and tell them what happend, and i would take it from here. My friend then left with him, and I stayed behind. I thought to myself, what is going to happen now? to us this case is important. But to the police, its just another problem they have to solve.
