J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter novels, setting plays a huge role in the fantasy of Hogwarts. The creative contrast of the fantasy of Hogwarts and the ordinary suburban home of Harry’s aunt and uncle gives depth. A huge aspect a good setting is detail, and in these novels the school is described with such details that makes it feel like a main character of the story. Hogwarts is a huge part of the story and it=f it were a different setting the magical feeling would be lost.
