As I opened the door of the dimly lit room - lit from the slightly opened window behind the bed - I noticed there was a thin layer of dust on the floor. That's odd, I think to myself. Clearly, no one had been here for a while. There is an unmade bed in the back right corner of the room, with a body mirror on the left side. Across from the bed, there is a TV, and it is on. Another strange thing. If someone had been leaving, wouldn't they have turned off the TV and closed the windows? There are also piles of clothes scattered about that looked as if they need to be laundered. Cautiously, I step into the room, trying not to touch anything just in case any fingerprints need to be lifted. I am supposed to be looking for any signs of murder, but everything looks normal to be. Just then, I heard a faint scuffling sound in the closet behind me, and I whip around to see what the noise is. I don't see anything though. Breathe, Lindsay, breathe. It was probably just a mouse or something in the wall.
