The sit-in by the group of four college friends in a restaurant in Woolworth, Greensboro on February 1, 1960, is an example of how a small group of thoughtful citizens can change the world for the better. Ezell Blair Jr., David Richmond, Franklin McCain, and Joseph McNeil who were blacks went to a restaurant where only whites were served and remained there. This was something very unusual. Their action started many other sit-ins and eventually protests which were useful in ending black discrimination in public places.

2.My friends and I once worked together to provide learning desks to some students in Africa. We noticed the bad state of their learning environment and decided to engage in the mission of providing them with comfortable sits to ease learning.

3. Initially, I had my doubts about the project since I was not so financially strong then, but my friends persuaded me to believe that this was a worthy mission. According to them, 'these children were the leaders of tomorrow' who needed sound education in comfortable learning environments to succeed. The project would serve as an incentive for them to sustain their love for learning.
