Maybe you enjoy going to the beach, hiking through the woods, or just gazing into the horizon where the rocky desert touches the cloud-streaked sky. Take a moment to describe that place in your journal. Include any memories you are reminded of, and the reasons why the place is special to you.

My favorite spot would have to be the lake that my family and i would go on every weekend. We would take out our boat and go tubing, swimming, and wakeboarding. The lake is quite large, with multiple secluded areas for fishing. Along the edges of the lake are large houses. There are many fancy houses that we would drive past and look at.  We spent as much time as we could on the lake before it became cold. This lake is special because we spent a lot of valuable family time here. I wouldn't want to spend my time anywhere else.
