My friend's grandmother is such a sweet and wholesome woman. When I arrived at my friend's village, my friend's grandmother welcomed me with open arms, her eyes full of kindness and warmth. She engulfed me into a tight hug that spoke volumes. She whispered in my ear, "Any friend of my grandson is mine." I felt her love radiate from her body and I felt the acceptance and love that she somehow transferred into my body by her cozy hug. Her grip was strong but gentle and I appreciated that. Her voice was like a comfortable blanket that I could fall asleep to it but yet it was powerful and impactful, one that you had to listen to no matter what you were doing. Although she was super small, she could rule the room and you had to do as she said and you had to answer her for fear of disappointing her. She took care of me while I was there like I was her own grandson. It was so kind of her to do that. She acted as if I was her family by blood. I think that says a lot about her.
