Kafka’s own life influences the themes he incorporated into the “The Metamorphosis”. For example he uses his real family relations to write about their distant relationships. He was the oldest of 6 children and didn’t get much attention. Kafka was also know to talk about his distorted and lonely life which he incorporates into the novel as well.
