i think it's that since everytime it was weighed it, it lost weight, so it must be that it's turning into gas since gas doesnt weight. I can not be that it doesn't react because it is reacting and it can't be the mass increases because if it increases it would weight more and it is not the case. Idk about the forms a white solid but i think that the most reasonable one would be that it turns into gas
