When the prevalence of a disease reduces, the predictive value (+) falls, and the predictive value (-) elevates. The predictive value (+) signifies the ratio of true positives who actually possesses the disease among all those with positive test results.  

On the other hand, the predictive value (-) signifies towards the ratio of true negatives who actually do not possess the disease among all those with negative test results.

Health Screening is conducting health checks that are highly recommended to prevent the development of several diseases. Even in some cases, health checks are useful to prevent some diseases from getting worse and provide an opportunity for doctors to diagnose the disease early. Some diseases, such as cancer and sexually transmitted diseases, will be easier to handle if they have been examined more quickly and also the treatment is given faster.
