In the play, "curl up and dye", what does the character charmaine despise/hate?

The famous work of Sue-Pam Grant entitled "Curl up and Dye" was played in 1989 in South Africa and became hit. One of the notable character in the play is Charmaine. Charmaine is portrayed by Cindy Swanepoel. In the play, Charmaine is a wh*re whose into drugs. She despise the death of Quintus whom she cares about. Quintus was stabbed and he is admitted to the hospital.
