Mexico is in Latin America, while Spain is in Europe, and is part of the European Union. Spain is more industrialized than Mexico, and the rule of law is stronger there.  Both nations are members of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, Organization of Ibero-American States, and the United Nations. Both Guadalajara and Sevilla speak Spanish. Although Spanish is spoken in both Spain and Mexico, there are differences in the way the language is used in these two countries.
