The verb dar is used with the words, me, te, le, os, nos, and les to indicate to whom something is given. These small words are called indirect object pronouns. We will use them before the conjugated verb.
me – to/for me
nos – to/for us
te – to/for you (informal)
os – to/for you all (informal)
le – to/for him, to/for her, to/for you (formal)
les – to/for them, to/for you (plural)

Here are some examples using indirect object pronouns:
Mi hermano le da las flores a mi mamá. (My brother gives flowers to my mom.)
Tú le das el libro a mi hermano. (You give the book to my brother.)
Nosotros les damos los dulces a mis abuelos. (We give the candy to my grandparents.)
