The board of supervisors is the legislative and executive body of county government. The supervisors pass all ordinances governing the county and are responsible for seeing that functions delegated to the county are properly discharged. The role of elected officials is that of governance. they make collective decisions. based on the needs and wants of the community. stas role is the management and implementation of the council or boards policies.
