Hi, just wanted to know if this was right. i'm taking spanish 1 so i'm still a beginner.

what i'm trying to say is: "i like to eat turkey on day. i like to give gifts on christmas day. my mom likes to eat roast beef on christmas day. she likes to celebrate on new year's eve. my mom and i like to cook on christmas day."

my translation:

me gusta comer pavo el día de acción de gracias. me gusta dar regalos el día de navidad. a mi mamá le gusta comer rosbif el día de navidad. a ella le gusta celebrar en la víspera de año nuevo. a mi mamá y a mí nos gusta cocinar el día de navidad.
