I would say that we can definitely reject options b, c, and d.
B is more true of monarchists, not nationalists.

D is so to say the "opposite" of nationalism: it is multi-culturalism.

Now, A is the correct answer and it is often true of nationalism. However, one can also be nationalistic without wanting a homeland, for example, when the homeland is already there.
