I Know this isn't a "choose all that apply" question, but I believe the answer is either B) "Agricultural societies were able to develop a more varied diet than hunter-gatherers because they could grow many types of crops." or C) "Because they did not grow their own food, They could not support as large of a population as agricultural societies."

B - Because since agricultural societies were using farming to supply the foods they eat, they didn't have to rely too much on the seasons changing or the specific region which could dictate what type of crops or animals they can eat.

C - Because unlike agricultural societies, hunter-gatherers didn't farm their own food, instead they hunted and gathered them, so they could only eat the crops and animals, common to the region they were in. Additionally depending on the season, some animals like birds could migrate away and others might just be hibernators.
