Why would the british care if there were french troops in america?

Great Britain was still in control of the colonies and didn't want to lose them to the French.

The french were also trying to claim land in america not just in Britain.

Idisagree because it would have harmed our whole society. starting from the madness of the civilians to the mass destruction of towns.
