The medical field, waiting tables, being a part of an athletic team, academia and even Starbucks create rules of language that allow some to feel a part of the whole while restricting access to others. Please write about an area you have experienced the exclusivity of language. Also, reflect on how when a culture is being controlled or extinguished, language is often key.
