At 10:00 AM United Airlines, Flight 93 crashed 80 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, after one passenger had placed a call to an emergency operator in Pennsylvania that the plane was being hijacked. Forty-five people were onboard.

These acts shattered steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve. America was targeted for attack because we're the brightest beacon for freedom and opportunity in the world. And no one will keep that light from shining."
