1. Thinking about tiered systems of support, have you ever come into contact with an intervention program ( at any grade ) that you felt may have been a Tier 2 support or intervention? If so, what was it and how did it work?
•If you were a parent, does the model make sense? How would you feel if your child had to access some of the supports but not get special education?

2. What were some of the systems to access the support and was there any progress monitoring that you could see?
• What did the monitoring look like?
• Were you part of the team?

3. If you have not had any experiences with MTSS or RTI did you have any “ ah ha “ moments? What are your thoughts on intervention systems? Do you see a benefit or a burden on the education system?
• As a teacher, what would be your concerns? Is it more work or does it make sense to put interventions in place before special education?
