YOU CAN ONLY CHOOSE ONE SIDE OF THE ARGUMENT. Paragraph 1: Introductory Paragraph. This paragraph must include the following sentences:
Introduction - a)What is your topic about, write a brief summary in a sentence - You can use a quote, statistics or ask a question. b) State your claim - which side of the argument you are on. c) State your reason for choosing that side of the argument. d) concluding sentence - wraps up the paragraph.

Body Paragraphs - Must include the following sentences:
Restate your reason from your introductory paragraph. Give a comment why. b) State the first source- where is it coming from and put the evidence in quotation marks. For example, Time Magazine stated “ ……” or in the article “Felons Should Get the Right to Vote,” it stated “…..” c) Explanations: (How does this evidence support your reason/claim)? Make one or two comments in which you draw conclusions from the evidence by giving examples or educated comments to explain the evidence. Use a transitional word (Furthermore, Moreover, In addition, For example) and state the Second source - where is it coming from and put the evidence in quotation marks.
