I think that being overconfidence is a big influence to our behavior for these reasons. Overconfidence makes you feel full of yourself a little to much. It prevents you from analyzing the situation. It can lead to arrogance. Here’s my example, of a situation I have fallen into. I had to take this big quiz once and I almost failed it because I thought I had studied enough. My overconfidence prevented me from checking my answers before I submitted the test. And it can have quite the bad effect in other situations to of course.
