All Americans understand that “universal suffrage” refers to the voting process of one person, one vote.
“Universal suffrage” refers to the blood, sweat and tears that have been shed so that American citizens can vote.
“Universal suffrage” is the right given to all adult citizens, male or female, to vote.
Citizens of the U. S. understand that it is their responsibility, or “universal suffrage” to know the issues before they vote
