How did world war 1 lead to the downfall of czar nicholas ||

russia was behind the rest of the world in technology and everything. soldiers were tired of fighting and dying because the state of things was so bad that there wasn't even enough guns for all the soldiers. so the soldiers were tired and many of them refused to fight. previously the tsar had taken control of the army so people blamed him for russia's militaristic failures. when he went to encourage troops to fight people in petrograd (st. petersburg- the capital) started to rise up. the tsar sent back a message demanding his soldiers to put down the uprising, but the soldiers were tired of the war too and joined the crowd. without the support of the military the tsar was forced to abdicate (give up) the throne, and russia became communist (hence red october- red because it is the color of the communists)    ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)︻̷┻̿═━
