TASK Using resources such as books, online materials, maps, and other visuals, you will choose two of the following tasks to complete. You will complete one project from Column 1 and one from Column 2.

Make sure that you choose two different countries to complete the projects.

Column 1 - Mapping
Make a climate map of a country located in North America. Explain, in a paragraph, how the climate affects: tourism, housing, and farming of that country. Choose one North American country, state, or territory. Create a booklet of at least four pictures which show how people interact with the geographic features of the place. Geographic features include oceans, mountains, valleys, deserts, etc.
Make a map of North America. Name the countries, oceans, mountains, and rivers. On this map, label the country with the largest population. Explain, in a paragraph, why that country has the largest population.

Column 2-Researching

Choose a North American country and research the answers to the following geographic questions:
Where is it located?
Why is it there?
What is significant about its location?
How is its location related to the location of other people, places, and environments?
Make sure to review the rubric prior to beginning your research so that you know how you will be graded.
