Yes, new technologies have helped me tremendously and in several ways.

Cloud storage is one of such technologies that has helped me to keep my files, documents and information safe and secured with ease of retrieval.

It has made it very possible to get my materials even after several years and decades.

On balance, I can see new technologies as both beneficial and threatening to the society.

1. New Technologies as beneficial

The emergence of new technologies is tremendously improving the standard of living and making life comfortable and easier. Robotics, medical technologies, self-driving vehicles, etc., are some technologies that are making life better and enjoyable.

2. New Technologies as threats

Even though there are so many advantages derived from new technologies, we cannot pretend to be ignorant of their disadvantages.

These disadvantages are what make them threats.

New technologies are a threat to society because some technologies are almost taking over human jobs. Robots are almost in every field doing the work humans do.

Also, some new technologies are leading to increase in crime.
