Explanation:

The Warrior Ethos is that of having a warrior's demeanor, thought process and spirit. A warrior will strive at all times to be tough minded, motivated, vigilant and willing to lay their lives down for their country if need be.

This is needed in the Army. To be able to successfully defeat the enemies of the nation, the Army has to instil values that mirror the Warrior ethos in the hearts and minds of their soldiers. This is why the US army for instance has warrior ethos written into its values.

One can therefore say that Army Values and Warrior Ethos are mutually dependent upon each other and one cannot be fully followed while the other is ignored.
