If people believe that you either go to heaven or the underworld, then is the reason why selling your soul is so frowned upon and a big matter because that means you will go to Hell after you die? *I'm not saying I believe this, I just would like to know how people see this in religion*

As a Christian, selling your soul to the devil is veryyy looked down upon. As a normal person, I just find it a very insane topic. The main thing to understand is that people "sell their souls" (I put quotations, because I don't fully believe in that kind of stuff) for reasons that are seen as sins. For example, money, fame, etc.. This is because being wealthy is technically a sin in the Bible, as it states, "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God." Basically, yes. If you sell your soul to the devil, you should not plan to go to heaven in the afterlife! When you do this selling of the soul, you make a trade with satan. He keeps your soul (so you'll forever be stuck with him, even after you die), and you get your fame/money. This ownership over your sould also gives the devil control over you. One person you should look into is Beyoné. It is strongly believed that she made this trade, as her and Jay-Z straight up pray to illuminate, and that she is now possesed by a certain demon spirit. It's crazy to see all the videos on the topic where she so suddenly changes character, and her eyes turn completly black. I also don't really know if i believe in that stuff, but I hope this helps!
