Examples of cultural capital include skills and knowledge. Education is received in schools. Both social capital and cultural adds value to one's life. Going to school gives us the priviledge to build both social and cultural capital. In school, we are able to meet our peers, form groups which will eventually be helpful to us in the future. The more involved you are in a certain group, the more social capital you build for yourself. Even being a member of a certain school or college makes you a group member. During sport competition, you are able to represent your school. You may also meet your school mate after graduation who may be of help to you in the near future.
