Why did the strong approach of King George III anger many colonists?

The strong approach of King George II anger many colonists, due to the reason being that he asserted claim on the colonies with strong dispute. He also promised rewards for those who took part in the American Revolutionary War, in which the colonist never received. Not only that, but he taxed many things that also angered colonist.
