Explanation:Maslow and Rogers believed that every individual has unique features and needs in the pursuit of personal growth and not necessarily agree with all the developmental psychologists that often created categories for obtaining certain stages of development according to a deterministic and general perspective.

The vision of Rogers and Maslow encourages a need for considering what is best for the individual on the inner needs and not considering the social demands or general criteria that other schools of psychology created.

However, it can be said that since their works formed the "Humanistic school of Psychology", hard criticism arose from psychoanalysis and systematic that questioned methodologically the way he conceived humans as "inherently good and prone to the good by nature".
