There is at least one of these courts in every state which ensures that the country's more than 300 million citizens are able to access federal justice.

Considering that the population of the U.S. when the Constitution was ratified was merely around 4 million and is now more than 300 million, the Founding Fathers are vindicated in their prediction.  

In conclusion, the founding fathers were right to give Congress this power because these courts make it easier for justice to be dispensed given the large U.S. population.
