Carefree speeches are defined as those speeches which are used by small children to communicate or it can be described as one of   the modified form that is used by adults to communicate with young children. Carefree speech is also known as baby talks as well as known as motherese.

While giving motherese speech there is increase in repetition of clauses as well as words, in case of motherese speech there is rise in speech. Motherese  speech is not used by adults  when they do the conversation.

collision: when two continental plates are shoved together

subduction: when one plate plunges beneath another (fig. 7.15)

spreading: when two plates are pushed apart (fig. 7.15)

transform faulting: when two plates slide past each other (fig. 7.15)
