Nancy finds it hard to keep friends for very long, because she goes back and forth from being a best friend to hating people in her life on a regular and rapid basis. when she dates men she will quickly "fall in love," but just as quickly fall "out of love." her boyfriends tend to get tired of her unpredictable nature, and often end up leaving her, only to have her beg them not to go. at times nancy becomes so upset that she engages in suicidal behaviors, sometimes severe enough to require hospitalization. nancy clearly suffers from personality disorder.

A person fears rejection and abandonment that they will always avoid being alone. However eventhough they feel a need to have relationships but still their uncontrollable emotions such as constant mood swings and anger may make people distance themselves from this person.

They will love the person and appreciate their presence but all of suddenly that can change and they start to see this person as evil and cruel to them. They have a lack of self identity and image that they constantly changes who they are or how they believe in themselves.
