Most european people work in service sector. why?

The tertiary sector, also called the service sector, is the branch of the economy that encompasses services and trade activities. The primary sector corresponds to agricultural and extractive activities and the secondary sector is formed by industrial activities.

It is the sector that brings the most benefits and generates the most jobs in Europe thus becoming its biggest and most important source
