Explanation: A cognitive approach is a psychological approach to explaining human behavior which poses essential interest in mind and thought processes. We act according to how we think.

One of the key assumptions of the cognitive approach is that our behaviors can be explained as scientific processes occurring in our brains, it takes into consideration biological aspects, such as how genetics influences our behavior. And also how change is constant because human beings are constantly learning new behaviors and how their cognitive abilities develop over time.

The correct answer is B because the cognitive approach relates to Debi's explanation in the sense that she is taking into consideration: Debi's learning abilities, problem-solving skills, attention which is a cognitive ability, and the fact that her brain is still forming.
