Explanation:

Id, Ego, and Superego are three aspects of our psyche or personality which is a great work by Sigmund Freud. Sigmund Freud works on personality and perhaps this is the only enduring work that is so much important in the field of psychology. Our psyche gives three parts of the personality that developed at a different level of life.

Id:

Id is the primary principle of personality. This is the principle that is inherited and contains life instincts "Eros" and death instincts "Thanatos". It is the unconscious and impulsive part of our psyche which responds to our desire needs and urges instantly. It operates with "pleasure principle" which means every desire should be fulfilled at once without knowing the consequences. It deals with pleasure, illogical thinking and fantasy.  

Ego:

It can be called a part of Id which is modified by the direct influence of external factors. It develops in between Id  and external factors. Ego always works with reason and whereas Id is illogical. It operates according to the "reality principle". It seeks pleasure with consequences.  

Superego
