A state clearly define the separation between borders and government jurisdiction between one state and another states. Nations on the other hand , do not have a clear distinction to clearly separate one nations with another.

The definition of a nation is a community of people that formed due to certain type of similarities. The similarities are limitless because they could include things such as language, ethnicity, , psychological make up , or any other thing that is acknowledged by the members.
