What do sociologists hope to accomplish through their studies?

Sociologists, through their studies, seek knowledge of social phenomena, the behavior of institutions and the relations of coexistence among human beings.

The human being is a social being, that is to say that at some point everyone has had or will have some contact with another human being throughout his life. To live in society it is necessary to establish norms and rules of coexistence.
