What is syllabus and what's the differ from curriculum ? ?

A syllabus describes what is to be covered in a particular class by a particular teacher while a curriculum prescribes what should be covered in the teaching of a subject by any teacher.

So, two teachers may both teach World Literature and give our different syllabi but they are each following the same curriculum.
